Who We Are
LuminIT was established in 2000 with a simple mission: Simplify IT for small- and medium-size businesses. Business owners/managers are busy. They excel in what they do. IT unfortunately can be a drain on their time and treasure; an unnecessary distraction. Using our managed-services technologies and methods LuminIT assumes full operational responsibilities of our clients’ IT both on premise and in the cloud.
Our Services
LuminIT provides a full stack of services at strategic and tactical levels.
While business leaders are experts at what they do, it is IT that tends to be viewed and an unnecessary evil, a cost center, an afterthought — until it doesn’t perform. Our strategic planning services help our clients avoid “failing to plan” scenarios and align their IT operations with their overall goals and objectives.
Our scope of tactical services spans systems architecture, design, implementation, support, administration, training, and maintenance. Our clients continue to benefit from our expertise in virtualization and cloud technologies, storage, security and threat management, intruder detection and prevention, mobility and remote access, and asset management.
Our Model and Approach
LuminIT is a consulting firm, i.e., we don’t sell hardware or software. Our partnerships with the leading technology companies are “consulting partnerships” as we do not commit to their sales targets. Our clients, therefore, are our primary constituents. Our services are outcome-based, i.e., we share the risks with our clients and our revenue is based on whether we have achieved specific goals for our clients.
Strategic Services
We help our clients uncover areas of potential improvements in the their business. Once these are identified, we work to involve all stakeholders in generating solution alternatives. Our clients, then, use our IT services to realize these potential improvements even if such improvements are not IT-related. The solution circle is completed as we engage our clients in a reassessment of the extent to which the potential improvements were realized.
Managed Services
We assume full responsibility of our clients’ IT systems to ensure 24x7x365 operations. From monitoring to maintenance, and from administration to support, we relieve you from the resource commitment and cost fluctuations and make sure that your users have all the IT resources needed to perform their job functions.
Other Engagements
It is also true that we have client engagements based on hourly rate. These engagements are tailored for individual client needs and requirements.
Our optimal client relationships have proven to be hybrid settings; ongoing support engagements enable us the deepest insight into our clients’ business.

LuminIT is based in Greater Cincinnati, OH. We extend our services to small- and medium-size businesses in South-West Ohio and Northern Kentucky. We have served these communities since 2000 as a company, and a lot longer as individuals.
